Restore App Data:
- Open “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab if necessary
- Tap “Backup & reset” under “Phone management”
- Scroll to “LG Backup”
- Tap “Restore from backup” and select the desired backup file
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
NOTE: You may have to reboot your phone in order for the restore to complete.
Restore Contacts:
- Launch “Settings”
- Switch to the “General” tab if necessary
- Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Backup & reset”
- Under “LG Backup” tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the backup file you want to restore and tap “Start” > “Done”
NOTE: You may need to reboot your phone to complete the restore.
Restore Contacts:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to the “General” tab and scroll to “Phone management”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
- Select the desired backup file and tap “Start”
- Tap “Done” at the “Restored” prompt
Restore Media Files:
- Open “Settings”
- Access the “General” tab
- Tap “Phone management”
- Tap “Backup & reset”
- Under “LG backup” tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the media files you want to restore
- Tap “Start”
- When prompted with “Restore completed” tap “Restart”
Restore Media Files from a PC:
- Connect the LG device to the computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media sync” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media file backups on the PC storage
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder(s) of origin
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
