NOTE: You can check this thread for a guide on how to back up app data, contacts, and media.
Restore App Data:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Phone management”
- Tap “Backup & Reset”
- Tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the backup file you want to restore
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
NOTE: You might need to reboot your device in order to complete the restore
Restore Contacts:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Phone management”
- Tap “Backup & Reset”
- Under “LG Backup” tap “Restore from backup”
- Select the backup you want to restore and tap “Start”
- At the “Restored” prompt tap “Done”
Restore Media Files:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Phone Management’
- Tap “Backup & Reset” > “Restore from backup”
- Select the media file backups you want to restore
- Tap “Start”
- At the “Restore completed” prompt, tap “Restart”
Restore Media Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media file backups
- Copy the files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the folders from where they originate
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
