Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection you can sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account, and then sync the account data with the Android phone.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes
  4. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With
  5. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to star the sync
  7. Once the sync completes, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Set the account to sync contacts with the phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account you can log in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and log in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  5. Perform one of the following steps:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using “Contacts

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps such as My Contacts Backup on Android and iOS. The app can back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. After the process completes, send the vCard to your own address
  4. On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
  5. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring computer access.

  1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Install the app on the Android device from the Play Store
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Tap “Send” and select a transfer method on one of the phones
  6. Follow the prompts to complete the process
