Back Up App Data:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Phone Management”
- Tap “Backup & Reset”
- Select “Google Backup”
- Enable “Back up my data”
Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Phone Management”
- Tap “Backup & Reset” > “LG Backup”
- Tap “Backup & Restore” > “Back up my data”
- Sign in with your LG account and select “Personal data” while deselecting the other options
- Expand the “Personal data” option and make sure “Contacts” is checked
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Backup & Reset” under “Phone Management
- Tap “LG Backup & Restore”
- Access “Backup data” > “SD Card”
- Select the contacts you want to back up
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Media Files:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Backup & Reset”
- Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore”
- Select the “Media data” option while deselecting the others
- Expand “Media data” and select the media files you want to back up
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the backup media files on the phone or the files ending with the “.sbf” extension
- Transfer the files to the desired backup location on the computer
- Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect it from the USB port
