Back Up App Data:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Phone Management”
- Tap “Backup & Reset”
- Select “Google Backup” and enable “Back up my data”
Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Phone Management”
- Tap “Backup & Reset”
- Access “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore”
- Tap “Back up my data” and log in with your LG account
- Select “Personal data” and deselect the other options
- Expand “Personal data” and ensure “Contacts” is checked
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Backup & Reset” under “Phone Management”
- Tap “LG Backup & Restore”
- Go to “Backup data” > “SD Card” and select the contacts you want to back up
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Media Files:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Backup & Reset” > “LG Backup”
- Tap “Backup & Restore”
- Select the “Media data” option and deselect the others
- Expand “Media data” and select the desired media files
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and PC
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the backup media files or the files with the “.sbf” extension on the phone
- Transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
