Back Up App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings
  2. Go to “Phone Management
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset
  4. Select “Google Backup” and enable “Back up my data

Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Go to “Phone Management
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset
  4. Access “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore
  5. Tap “Back up my data” and log in with your LG account
  6. Select “Personal data” and deselect the other options
  7. Expand “Personal data” and ensure “Contacts” is checked
  8. Tap “Start” > “Done

Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:

  1. Launch “Settings
  2. Go to “Backup & Reset” under “Phone Management
  3. Tap “LG Backup & Restore
  4. Go to “Backup data” > “SD Card” and select the contacts you want to back up
  5. Tap “Start” > “Done

Back Up Media Files:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Access “Backup & Reset” > “LG Backup
  3. Tap “Backup & Restore
  4. Select the “Media data” option and deselect the others
  5. Expand “Media data” and select the desired media files
  6. Tap “Start” > “Done

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and PC
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the backup media files or the files with the “.sbf” extension on the phone
  5. Transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
