Back Up App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings
  2. Go to “Phone Management
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset
  4. Select “Google Backup” and enable “Back up my data

Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Go to “Phone Management” and tap “Backup & Reset
  3. Access “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore
  4. Tap “Back up my data” and sign in with your LG account
  5. Select “Personal data” and expand the option
  6. Check “Contacts” if necessary
  7. Tap “Start” > “Done

Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Access “Phone Management
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset” > “LG backup & Restore
  4. Access “Backup data” > “SD Card
  5. Select the contacts you want to back up and tap “Start
  6. Tap “Done

Back Up Media Files:

  1. Open “Settings” and go to “Backup & Reset
  2. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore
  3. Select “Media data” and deselect the other options
  4. Expand “Media data” and select the desired media files
  5. Tap “Start” > “Done

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Navigate the media backup files or the “.sbf” files on the phone
  5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the computer
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
