NOTE: You can visit this thread for a guide on how to back up app data, contacts, and media files.

Restore App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings
  2. Go to “Phone Management
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset
  4. Access “Restore from backup
  5. Select the desired backup file and tap “Start” > “Done

NOTE: You might have to reboot the phone to complete the process.

Restore Contacts:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Access “Phone Management
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset
  4. Under “LG Backup” select “Restore from backup
  5. Select the desired backup file and tap “Start
  6. At the “Restored” prompt tap “Done

Restore Media Files:

  1. Launch “Settings
  2. Access “Phone Management
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset
  4. Tap “Restore from backup
  5. Select the media file backups you want to restore and tap “Start
  6. When prompted, tap “Restart

Restore Media Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media backup files on the computer
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the folders of origin
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
