Back Up App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings
  2. Access “Phone Management
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset
  4. Select “Google Backup
  5. Enable “Back up my data

Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:

  1. Launch “Settings
  2. Go to “Phone Management
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset” > “LG Backup
  4. Tap “Backup & Restore
  5. Select “Back up my data” and log in with your LG account
  6. Select and expand “Personal data
  7. Make sure “Contacts” is checked
  8. Tap “Start” > “Done

Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Go to “Phone Management
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset
  4. Go to “LG Backup & Restore” > “Backup data
  5. Select “SD card” and the contacts you want to back up
  6. Tap “Start” > “Done

Back Up Media Files:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Access “Backup & Reset
  3. Go to “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore
  4. Select “Media data” and deselect the other options
  5. Expand “Media data” and select the media files you want to back up
  6. Tap “Start” > “Done

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media backup files or the “.sbf” files on the phone
  5. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the PC
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
