Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data with the Android phone.
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Click the iPhone and go to Info
- Select Sync Contacts With from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing one
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: You can sign in with your iCloud account on a computer with Internet access and export your iPhone contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.
- Launch the Internet browser on the PC and visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Via My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access but you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share contacts via email.
- Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and create a vCard backup file of your contacts
- Start a new email and attach the vCard
- Send the email to your own address
- On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere for Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.
- Install the app on both phones from their respective app stores
- Launch the app on both devices
- Tap Send > Contacts on the iPhone and select the desired contacts
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
