Back Up App Data:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Phone Management” and tap “Backup & Reset”
- Select “Google Backup”
- Enable “Back up my data”
Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:
- Launch “Settings” and access “Phone Management”
- Tap “Backup & Reset” > “LG Backup”
- Tap “Backup & Restore” and select “Back up my data”
- Log in with your LG account
- Select and expand “Personal data” then ensure the other options are deselected
- Tick the “Contacts” check box”
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Open “Settings” and go to “Phone Management”
- Tap “Backup & Reset”
- Tap “LG Backup & Restore”
- Tap “Backup data” and select “SD card”
- Select the desired contacts and tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Media Files:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Backup & Reset”
- Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore”
- Select “Media data” and deselect the other options
- Expand “Media data” and select the desired files
- Tap “Start” > “Done”
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Navigate to the media files or the “.sbf” backup files you want to back up
- Transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
