Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the audio files on the PC
  5. Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” directories
  6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound” > “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap the desired contact and tap “Edit”
  3. Tap “Menu” > “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change Incoming Email Notification Sounds:

  1. Open “Email”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
  3. Go to “Accounts & Sync”
  4. Tap “New emails” > “Notification sound”
  5. Select the desired notification alert
  6. Optionally, enable or disable “Vibrate”

Change Emergency Alert Settings:

  1. Open “Messages” and tap “Menu”
  2. Go to “Settings” > “Advanced settings”
  3. Tap “More” > “Emergency alerts”
  4. Enable or disable “Imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
  5. Optionally, turn ON or OFF” Sound and Vibrate” “Alert Sound” and “Alert vibration”
