I'm using Fedora Core 5 on my laptop and it's nice. I'm a newbie though.

Re: What distro are you running?
I've tried ubuntu, Fedora, and a bunch of others but suse is my favorite overall. It seems to be the easiest next to ubuntu.

Re: What distro are you running?
Suse is the easiest to run and use alrite, a complete newbie could run it out of the box no problem, Ubuntu has the relaxation of suse, with the power of Debian, Love it so i do.

Re: What distro are you running?
I've got
Ubuntu Edgy running on my Powerbook G4 (ppc)
Gentoo linux stage 1 and LFS on my desktop (x86)
SuSE Linux 10.1 on my server (x86)
SuSE Linux 10.2 on my gaming machine (amd64)
I've used debian and slackware a lot in the past...and I started Linuxing (best word ever) when FC1 came out (first distro until i discovered debian!)

Re: What distro are you running?
I've tried SuSE and I had issues with the package management.
I've tried Fedora, but the Wireless didn't work.
I've tried Arch, but the packages were outdated (sometimes) and inconsistant.
I've tried Kubuntu, but don't really like KDE
I've liked Ubuntu and Xubuntu a lot, but I needed more customization so I'm running Gentoo. Fun, it is. Lots of customization.
One challenge:
Try running without X. It's really hard.

I'm using Linux Mint now. But I'm going to switch to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
