Well haven't heard much about MetroPCS, but they are coming to Dallas shortly and the store I work at will become a MetroPCS dealer as well. The question I have is, what are some strong selling points? Pros and Cons? and out of the list of phones that they carry, which are going to be the hot sellers? Any replys are appreciated.

The reception is OK if you stay near town also idk if u can roam but thatd be nice. I was very satisfied(i moved they didnt have good reception @ new house). The Nokia's usually sell the best b\c they get good reception. I'd recommend the Nokia 6255i or Nokia 6235 or Motorola V266

metro pcs I heard has really poor connection though and the calling area is only in cali florida and georgia. I'd still get it though as long as it hade good reception in my area.

Well, the downfall to Metro PCS is this...........
- They do not offer full web browsing like Cingular, T-Mobile, etc.
- your bill is due on the numerical date of the month that you activate service..... so if you activate on the 24th then it will be due on the 24th of each month
- if you don't pay your bill by the due date, your service is suspended until you pay the bill.
- As an example..... say your bill is due on the 1st & you're not able to pay it until the 14th..... you are still going to be charged the same monthly fee even though you were only able to use the phone 2 weeks out of that month
- their phones are outdated & it takes them forever & a day to come out with new phones
- the service in Dallas will suck at least for about 6 months until they are able to put up a good # of cell towers
The knowledge I have of Metro PCS comes from reliable sources & so that is how I developed my opinion of them.

Re: MetroPCS in Dallas
I would like to know why Metro PCS Dallas doesn't offer any type of discounts or specials on their phones? I have a UTStarcom flip phone and it works for me just fine. But eventually I'd really like to upgrade to something else but I don't want to go through the whole process of buying another phone at full price!
Most cell companies offer specials on their phones or offer some type of trade in discount to entice you to buy a newer model. Why won't they offer something like this? Anyone know?

Re: MetroPCS in Dallas
I have been with MetroPcs for over a year and every month no matter what they turn off my phone.
I am handicapped and on disability and I don't get my check until the 1st and my bill is due the 29th and they won't change my due date. Now my phone is off because they suddenly added a late fee that I can't afford so I don't know what to do. My # isn't active so I can't switch and they say I'm no longer a customer.
