MetroPCS initially launched in 2002 and four years later, now have more than 2 million subscribers. MetroPCS offers customers flat rate plans with unlimited local and domestic long distance minutes with no contract. MetroPCS currently covers the greater Miami, Tampa, Sarasota, Atlanta, San Francisco, Sacramento, Dallas and soon to come Detroit metropolitan areas.
What rate plans do they currently offer? What are some of the optional features? Am I covered by MetroPCS? What phones am I able to get with MetroPCS? If you have any questions/comments about MetroPCS you may post them here.

Re: MetroPCS Thread!!!
Just a couple ?'s...
I just bought the Razr for Metro Pcs and I must say..I'm happy with the perfomance of the phone but its a couple little things I don't like...
From my understanding, you must set up an account with metro pcs to even get app's, ringtones, and images which is really bugging me because I make my own ringtones...can I use a data cable or no???
Another problem I'm having is that I can't have the vibrate and ring feature on my phone...they have vibrate, vibrate then ring, loud, and soft...NO VIBRATE AND RING! Is it possible to get this???
But other then that, I'm happy...can actually talk in the basement (WOOOHOOOO!)
Thanx tho guys...

Always great to see a happy person with metroPCS service! Where exactly is it that you use your service? If there is anything else I can do for you let me know.

Re: MetroPCS Thread!!!
Hey Guys;
I live in the Atlanta area. I recently bought a Nokia 6101 to use with the Tmobile to go thing, but im ending up spending like $50 a month on it for basically NOTHING, so I saw this and am very interested. Is there any way I can still use my 6101 and keep my number? I love this phone, and I just got it, so I really dont want to get anything else. Thanks!!!

Re: MetroPCS Thread!!!
I am looking to buy a 3586i for MetroPCS. I need it to replace my current phone, which no longer works after becoming waterlogged (ugh).
anyone have this for sale, or know where to purchase one, it would be appreciated (I'd prefer used or refurbished to new at this time due to cost)
actually, a good deal on any MetroPCS enabled phone would be appreciated. Just that I have/had the 3586i and it was sufficient, but I would be interested in any MetroPCS phone just to restore my service for now.

Re: MetroPCS Thread!!!
You can purchase a used/refurbished one online somewhere, maybe ebay or something. The only thing to watch out for would be to make sure that esn is in good standing(i.e. hasn't been reported lost/stolen). Some authorized metroPCS dealers carry replacement phones in the store, which might be a little more expensive way to go but definitely safer.
