Experience of Mobile Spy 6 usage for Android

I want to share my experience in "mobile spy" version 6 usage with android phone.
I use it with XPERIA X8 phone and Android 2.1.
There is a list of issues:

1. There were problems with online portal of mobile spy - 2 days it was out of service and does not show any data.
2. The mobile spy slows down phone. Sometimes it takes 3-5 seconds to open incoming SMS or dialer frizzes. Without mobile spy phone works fast.
3. The "mobile spy" sometime lost credentials for server connection and you need retype user/password to enter the control panel.
4. After a few days of sending call/sms logs the mobile spy stops working. It is on the phone, internet connection is enabled, but no new data appeared in the web portal. Restart/reinstall/reconfiguration does not help. Actually now it is useless software on the phone - it only slow down other applications.
5. The logs I received during first days of usage of mobile spy were flooded with duplicates of records, especially SMS logs. Sometimes one message was cloned up to 8 times.
6. There is no option to synchronize call/sms logs manually, you need to have enabled internet on your phone all the time. If you want to enable internet for log synchronization, then you need to wait a while for some unpredictable time of synchronization.
7. Support does not help at all. It apologizes and recommends reboot/reinstall my phone. But it replies fast.

So now I'm forced to uninstall the Mobile Spy from phone. I lost a 50$ and lot of time for this scrappy application.

I had similar experiences with Mobile Spy on anAndroid, but it was a different Android phone and it was Mobile Spy 5. I had many dublicates in the SMS logs, and also after a few days it stopped working.
If it is like that what you said (everything, especially using apps/games, works slowly and you need internet all the time), then I guess the user just switched the phone off. The user complained already that he is not happy with this Android.

So I installed Mobile Spy 6 on an Iphone.
I never got dublicate SMS in the logs up to now, but I have a few other issues. And with both it happened sometimes to me that I was kind of auto logged off and I had to log in again. This did't bother me too much, log in is quick. But to start again the live panel sometimes didn't work anymore, it is annoying.

I experience that for example pictures are not transmitted to the logs. Up to now there were only 2 pictures. And Internet usage is onla sometimes transmitted.
I realize that live panel shows screenshots of the phone, but then suddenly stops or freezes in one shot. I don't know why this is like that, maybe there is a reason. And many times the screenshot is up to date, you can see it on the phone screen (time of the day and I see my own sent SMS on the screenshot just as it arrives. But the map with the coordinates shows something different. The coordinates from the location log is a completely different than on the live panel. Difficult to destinguish what could be correct, sometimes.

These programs work up to a certain point good, but they have some issues which not yet were fully sorted out.

My version now is only running since a few days. I am very scared now it soon stops, too.

I was running version 6, never could get it to work (and I'm an IT person VERY well versed in Android OS). I spent a great deal of time with their support folks, then tried again a few times, and now I'm asking for my money back and they want to make me do it all over again before refunding me. I am a consultant. I get paid by the hour. I'll lose more money than I paid working through it again for no reason.

I am very frustrated with Retinax and recommend to all my customers and to anyone reading this forum to stay away from all their products. Search BBB and you'll see a large number of complaints on their products. They actually have BBB on their web site. I should have reviewed the BBB site about them before I paid $140.

Stay away from Mobile Spy by Retinax.
