Droid GPS Signal Spotty?

I noticed that on an hour drive around Philly the GPS signal was lost about 5 times, while my other GPS source had a perfect signal (build in car navi). Is anyone else experiencing something similar?

ones a gps unit, the other is a cellphone with gps as a bonus bobo.....proly should rethink yer math. and on top of that you have an actual gps...what would u need the phone for. chances are the gps and the phone were mounted differently and the phone dropped gps due to the roof or the other gps blocking the signal.

It's not about math. I didn't buy the phone Good point about surrounding objects affecting the signal differently though. I guess a more balanced comparison would be with my BlackBerry.
