VZW Fears for your privacy?

Is this why Verizon Wireless has never "opened" their devices to other services like third party apps?

Ha, so they're putting all liability on Google.

Awwww, they care about us. Sounds like they are covering their own butt to me. I can't afford the Droid or it's data plan anyway.

Well, this is the ONE situation where everything that happens on this device is really out of Verizon's hands. They feel powerless basically.

This is the one situation where they do not control the apps you download, who you download them from, and other products and services. In reality, it is all on Google and the developers.

It's amazing that VZW allowed a device to get out from under their goosestepping control...But I like it

It's not necessarily amazing...

Verizon Wireless has been trying to be more "open" for a while and they haven't found the right product to do that...but the Google Android has it all and does it all!
