Re: Droid - The little phone that can't
Actually give the phone until mid-December and then take it back.
On December 11, a vital free software (firmware) update will be available for this Droid to fix numerous known issues.
ALL phones, when first released, experience numerous amounts of problems. This one actually is a fairly decent device.
For information on the software update: http://cellphoneforums.net/motorola-...-dec-11th.html
For information to help with your yahoo connection problems: http://cellphoneforums.net/motorola-...ola-droid.html
Also, keep in mind that by waiting until December 11 or later to get your phone refunded or exchanged will not be a problem. Remember, Verizon Wireless gives 30 days to decide if you do not like the device. For all purchases made between November 15, 2009 and December 14, 2009 may be exchanged or returned through January 13, 2010...so waiting shouldn't really hurt you (unless you were one of the few to jump out and get it on release day.

OK, I'll be patient, and give it 2 weeks.
But come on, basic functionality like proper sync to outlook is an after thought when rushing a product to market.
VERY unacceptable.

From what i understand the DROID does not support OUTLOOK, but check for Apps in the MARKET on the DROID
You can forward your OUTLOOK mail to a GMAIL account.
Check out the link below and search google and see what it has on the topic.
