Neither my first nor my second Motorola Droid receives non-g-mail emails (msn and business accounts). After spending an hour with a tech rep in the Verizon store (who spent most of the time on the phone with tech support....two levels), I demanded and received a new phone. The tech rep downloaded my msn and business email information. It worked great for a couple of hours...I have not received any e-mails or notifications since. When I try to "load new messages" the wheel just spins and spins. After reading a few blogs, I have come to the conclusion that the only email service that will work on the the Droid is g-mail. I need to be able to receive and send business emails and I have no intentions of abandoning my msn account, especially since the Droid is suppose to have the capability to receive massages from 10 different accounts. Other than that one problem, I like the phone; however, if I can't access business emails it practically useless. Thought I'd ask if anyone can help me solve this problem before I return the Droid and purchase an iphone.
Help,

Re: Not receiving non-gmail e-mails
Try manually configuring your MSN account with the following settings:
POP(3)
pop3.email.msn.com
SMTP
smtp.email.msn.com
The port should remain the same.
If it is an exchange account, you'll need to use the exchange email program (called corporate email I believe).
