Battery won't hold charge

for 3 days now my droid wont hold a charge for more than a few hours, even when i havent used it. I have been to verizone 3 times and will back tomorrow for the same problem. this just started after 4 weeks of no problems. they say to kill the apps each time and I did that and still no difference. I hope I dont get the run around again. any ideas:

I will be goin back to verizon 3 times now on saturday, for the same screen problems, i was thinkin about gettin a whole different phone in all.

Something must be running in the background that is eating up battery power.

Try this and see if it makes a difference:

* Press the Home button > Menu
* Select Add > Widgets > Power Control

This Widget will easily allow you to turn off services that drain battery, like Wi-fi, Bluetooth, Screen briteness, e-mail and facebook sync, and GPS
