clearing a meid on a droid

i have a droid 1 that is locked due to non payment i need to be able to do a meid swap and put my other phone number and plan on it how can i do it thans

*Bump* I know this is an old thread but it still shows in Google so I'm goin 2 answer this 4 others cause I'm sure the op already has an answer or don't care.

ANSWER IS NO MOTOROLA'S MEID/ESN CAN BE REPAIRED. SORRY ALL U MOTO ONLY PEPS.

If it ispossible I have not heard about it & I stay on top of the flashing info as I flash Android's 2 Straight Talk, Page Plus, Cricket, Metro, Revol, Boost so if there's a way contact me(snyderswireless@gmail) but as far as I know there is no way REPAIR Motorola's

I didn't know the MEID could be changed on phones other than motorola?

Well ur not supposed to "Change" a Meid/Esn its Illegal. Now "Repairing" is a different story. I didn't say anything about "Changing" an Esn I was talking about "Repairing" an Esn/Meid.Talk

I'm on my phone & hit the post button and didn't see a edit post button so that's y I'm posting again to give this **WARNING** I'M NEW HERE BUT TALK ABOUT CLONING, CHANGING ETC IS ILLEGAL & WILL PROB GET U BOOTED OR A WARNING FROM THE FROUM. U can discuss REPAIRING ur current/original ESN/MEID that's all. Just a heads up I'm sure this is the rule as its the same on any cell phone forum :-) hope this info helps sum peps & keeps them outta trouble
