News: First photos of Motorola Droid 2 World Edition phone

Rumors about the Verizon Motorola Droid 2 World Edition has been flying around with the deletion of the vanilla Droid 2 once the Droid 2 World Edition comes out. Above is the first pictures of the Motorola Droid 2 World Edition handset that not only is capable of running on Verizon's CDMA network in the US but is capable of also running on GSM networks elsewhere. This capability is perfect for Verizon customers when it comes to roaming, which makes the phone a Global Roaming phone.

The Motorola Droid 2 World Edition phone looks quite similar to that of its relative, Droid 2. We will have to wait and see if Verizon keeps the vanilla version around once the Droid 2 World Edition phone is launched.
