News: Motorola Droid R2-D2 limited edition become official

Reported about several days ago, the Motorola Droid R2-D2 limited edition has just been officially announced and has an available date of September 30 at Verizon. The price of the Verizon Motorola Droid R2-D2 limited edition will cost you $249 on a two year contract and after a $100 mail in rebate.

The Motorola Droid R2-D2 has the design painted on the cover to feature the Star Wars R2-D2. A media media dock with the same Star Wars theme is available along with a wired stereo headset. Some of the contents that come with this Motorola handset are: R2-D2 ringtones and notification sounds, an R2-D2 Clock Widget, live wallpapers, a Binoculars App, and “The Best of R2-D2” video.
