    Hi,
I am new here...and desparate to get some answers
I have been having this problem with my razr and bluetooth. So far I have changed 3 bluetooth devices already...and I am at a loss here what to do.
Someone PLEASE HELP !!! Here is the problem....
My bluetooth (when the boom is open) keeps connecting and disconnecting to my razr phone constantly...like every 60 seconds or so. When the boom is open it connects and then the screen would light up again and it would show DISCONNECTED MOTOROLA HS 850...then within following 1 sec it will connect back up again...and then disconnect in the next 60 sec....and so on and so forth. It drains my phone battery (screen backlight)
    What is going on?

    Thanks,
    bailey

Is it an original BT headset or is it a dodgy knock off

sounds like your phone's B/T might be the problem if you already exchanged your headset three times, try connecting your headset with another B/T capable phone and see if it works properly, if it does then it's your phone.....good luck.

Today I finally took my razr to a Motorola dealer store. Well, one their technicians tried his razr with my bluetooth...AND...it is the bluetooth itself. Actually, I come to find out that my European/Asian version of HS 850 apparently is NOT compatible with the American version of razr. That solves it !!!

You shouldn't have a problem with this combination, many including myself are using the same exact set up..

NO NO NO, that is not true!

You are able to utilize the BLUETOOTH on a Euro/Asian or US product, it does not matter. But more than likely, the technician used that as an excuse because the Motorola HS850 has a large number of returns. This early in the game, it has more returns than the HS810 to date!!!

Also, please let me know what Razr you have, is it the Cingular edition? That is the ONLY true US VERSION of the Razr!
