on cnet soem users claimed that there was some problems with v3

1. System freeze
2. Keyboard light dead
3. Java applications freezing
4. Phone goes dead – camera on screen shows images as u move the phone – but no buttons respond. System has to be reset by removing battery
5. Talk time 45 mins max ( less than a qaurter of stated specs)
6. Standby time 24-36 hours max ( 15% of stated ? )
7. Hinge squeaking
8. Bluetooth headset ‘weak signal’ warning and cutoff within 1-2 mins of usage
9. Speed keys do not work – even though phone book shows it assigned to a key, pressing the key gets a msg the key is empty
10. Phone switches off and restarts frequently

none of those problems here.


2)They may need reminding that the keyboard has a light sensor so it knows when it needs to be lit and when it doesn't. It may seem like it's a problem when they see it's not on.

I ussually get 4 hours or so of talk time and that's with a 9 month old battery.

I get good standby time on my set. But I get less talk time than the specs. However this may be a problem with my set only. The other set (razr v3) that my spouse uses, gets more talk time than my set.

can any1 confirm this with me?

I've only had problens with #4, but it only happened once. My hinge does make a squek when opened, but it's not too noticeable unless you put your ear up to it
