Does anyone know if the Motorola V3 RAZR casing in BLACK
is made of the same material as the silver one? I know the
silver one is made of anodized aluminum, but the black
casing doesn't look as tough.

Does anyone know what happens if the black finish gets scratched? Does it break though the paint revealing silver, or is the metal anodized so when starched it does not show as bad?

I hope i never have to find that out, but since its anodized it should withstand scrathces a bit better.

Yeah, I was mad myself. I was about to buy a whole housing kit for it, but it seemed to be a waste of a 100 hundred bucks for something barely noticeable.

Yes, especially when your fingers are a bit sweaty, leaves a smudge. It takes a bit of elbow grease to clean it up!
