Hi All, I'm running Win2000 SP4, connecting the V3 with USB cable. I've installed MPT 3.07A from the How to for the V3 thread.

My problem is this, the computer recognizes the phone and shows it as a V3 under Device Manager so I know it's connecting. However, MPT just says "Initializing" and never connects so I can't access the phone.

Am I missing something, need to spend the 30 dollars to upgrade MPT, or what? Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Jason

when you start your MPT program wait for it to prompt you to connect phone to usb cable...

    Update,

It didn't work originally, but last night I tried again. When I started MPT it downloaded all the updates, recognized my V3 and works fine now. Weird, tried to update before and it wouldn't.

Oh well, no problems now and thanks for the help!

LOL...locked up and I had to reinstall. Now, same problem again

Ya know, I'm thinking I'm a-lergic to this hear technology stuff!

Well, got a couple of ringtones on there and a couple of wallpapers changed out....and will go from here. Hopefully the new PC on the horizon in the next month or 2 will help.

As an aside, I feel like a real idgit for paying 199 for my phone, as I saw them for $69 last night at the same place...lol. Oh well, that's what I get for being antsy!
