Hi all, I have a Cingular Silver Razr V3 and am interested in purchasing Motorola PhoneTools 3.0. Is this program user friendly? Im not tech savvy, but want some cool ringtones without paying 2.49 a pop for them. Does it walk you through the process? How is the clarity of the ringtones? What is the maximum length of each ringtone/how many ringtones will the Razr hold?

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance in this matter.

    Footballfreak, welcome to CFP..

MPT is very easy to use and if you're going with MPT make sure you get the latest version, if you do a search you'll find it here in the Motorola forum..

As far as ringers go, you should edit them to be no longer than 30 seconds, no need to have the whole song, you'll never hear more than 30 seconds of it when your phone rings, sound quality, don't expect much, this is a cell phone we're talking about, and the Razr has a small speaker wich doesn't help much.
Overall it should sound good enough for a ringtone.

Theres no need to download from any p2p programs, and risk
getting a virus when Tony E!'s above post told footballfreak7
exactly what to do. Check in one of the 'stickys' in the Moto
    section.
