I'm pretty new at this but I've had very good luck with MPT and a USB cable for the simple things like up/downloading pics and ringtones.
It seems to be much more complex if you want to do games and remove any of the factory installed stuff. In fact, I have a tread on it and it seems that no one knows why none of the other software will connect to my phone, also a V3c.
