I have a Razr from Cingular, and I was wondering if it is possible to transfer my text messages to the PC?
I have the Motorola phone tools v4, and it seems like I can transfer everything BUT messages.
I mostly just dont want my Inbox to be so cluttered. Ive had other phones where you can create folders to Archive messages, but, the Razr doesnt seem to have that option. Like I said, Id rather be able to just move them to my computer(WinXP)
Ive searched this forum, but, didnt find anything on it.

Unfortunately, I dont have an online plan with Cingular. I would think that might get costly, doing it that way?
    Thanks for the reply tho

in MPT, there is a menu for SMS's. Just copy them to your PC.

How about for Nokia 6630 phones? The software says that I can sync my messages with my pc but it doesn't do so. What software can I use to transfer my phone messages to my pc? Thea

For reference, please note that T-Mobile allows you to set your profile settings to forward copies of all text messages to your email. I have this set up so that if I accidentally delete a text message or somehow miss it, I still have a copy in my email.
