I have installed the usb drivers and I got the program to convert the ringtone files but now I can't get the MPT probram to work. I have let it update and I can't find the option to where it will let me upload the ringtones. It looks like the phone and gives the options to sync, phonebook, text message, and internet connection. There sure does seem to be alot more to this than my LG8100. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Problems loading ringtones to Razr
Once you download Moble Phone Tools, make sure the usb is plugged into the phone and the phone is turned on and you should be able to add ring tones and edit the length of them also.

Re: Problems loading ringtones to Razr
Found this somewhere else see if it works. I will test it next time my niece comes over she has a V3C.
Here is a easy to follow set of instructions to enable the Multimedia Studio button in MPT for the Razr V3c (I can not promise at this time it will work for the V3m).
You need to first make sure you are updated MPT as far as you can go. Connect the phone and launch MPT. Once connected click on "Menu", go to "General Setup" and click the "Communications" tab. Click "Change Modem" and follow the instructions. When you get to the "detect driver" screen, put a check mark in the box next to "Do not automatically detect driver. Select from list." and click "Next".
Choose "Motorola CDMA" and scroll the list until you see "V3cm". Select this phone and click "Next". Then, simply click "Finish" and it will reload MPT. Your phone will be recognized and you will have access to the "Multimedia Studio" options.
That should resolve your MPT issues. Please note: this fix may only make the button show up on your MPT interface. It will not make the button work if you have firmware version .03 or higher. I believe you have to have your ringtones in WMA format

Re: Problems loading ringtones to Razr
I believe the firmware is my problem and my wife doesn't want me to flash with an older version.

Re: Problems loading ringtones to Razr
If you have the Verizon V3c or V3m, then the firmware is your problem. Unfortunately, the only way to fix it is to flash to V3c version .02 (there is no alternative version for the V3m) or edit the seem, which can be easier than a firmware flash, but ultimately more dangerous if you don't follow the instruction just so.
