sending ringtones to razr

ok i have a motorola v3 razr and i also have the cord to hook up the phone to a USB port. my problem is that i dont know how to send a ringtone or any information to my phone. do i need a special program?

The page even shows u before u post theres a threat that's called "How to for the motorola V3 (Everything you need to know and then some)" I'm sorry if I sound like a jerk but it seems like no one even searches before posting.
