RAZR Question

I had a RAZR V3m(charcol grey) this past June from Verizon and it had some problems so Verizon(last month) gave me a RAZR with a Silver or Titanium casing and the keypad is black. Did they give me another model of RAZR that plays MP3s. The reason I'm asking is because this new phone feels stronger and the buttons feel different.

Also I am able to load .mp3 directly using my card reader and SD card without going into Windows Media Player. Any ideas as to how this works. I am able to play my MP3 as part of a playlist. Will I run into any problems? I'm tellng you the sound quality of those MP3 are better than the WMAs so should I just continue downloading the songs directly from to the SD card using the reader as opposed to the stupid conversion processs? I wonder why Verizon only told me it would play .WMAs when it can play MP3s just fine. I went to an authroized dealer and they told me to do it this way and it works.

If I have another RAZR model tell me. I could not find the V3m with the same color on the outside and the black keypad on the inside.

I've got to say this phone is better than the Charcol Grey phone and even better than the E815 if it can play MP3s using the same method I did on the E815. I love the USB headphones.

i think the razr v3m silver is a updated model of the dark gray razr.

There are only 2 CDMA Razrs; the original V3c and the new V3m. The V3m plays MP3s, whereas the V3c did not. The V3m comes in 3 colors; gunmetal grey, pink and silver. There is no difference between them, besides color. Verizon no longer offers the V3m in the original gunmetal grey (other than refurbished exchanges), only the silver and pink.

no wonder why when i order the extented batttery for my razr, the battery cover that came with the battery was dark gray.

They probably just made the extended battery for the V3c and didn't make different colors for the casing.

The extended battery currently comes with the silver cover.
