Is it possible to reprogram a Motorola Razr phone for use with Verizon?

No, the hardware in the phone is only for GSM networks, such as t-mobile or cingular. You cannot use a GSM phone for a CDMA network, and there is no possible way to program it to use it, since the hardware will only accept GSM networks.

Just buy the CDMA Razr V3m from Verizon, it's a better quality phone than the original GSM V3 anyway!

    I agree. A V3c wouldn't be bad, either.

Verizon's network is completely different from GSM and GSM phones can't work on Verizon's network (CDMA) and vice versa.

I second getting a CDMA RAZR instead of a GSM version. It's a much newer model that has better features including a higher resolution camera.

Oh my god spum, you said something nice about the Razr! I believe that is the 4th horseman of the apocolypse! LOL! The world must be ending soon!

You just won't find the V3c at any Verizon stores. It was replaced by the V3m.

Keep in mind that I'm comparing one RAZR to another. That doesn't make either of them any good.

Not at a corporate store. Perhaps some authorized agents around the country may still have a few. But, quite frankly, with the current $49.99 promotion on the V3m, why would anybody want to get the significantly under-featured V3c?

    Re: Motorola Razr V3 GSM

Keep in mind that the general public knows what a RAZR is, but they generally don't have any idea that there is a V3m or V3c...or a difference in the GSM and CDMA models for that matter. Your average customer wouldn't know the difference between a V3m and V3c unless they were told the differences. It would be pretty easy to sell the V3c as well.
