Black RAZR and T-Mobile

Just bought a new black razr and using it with my t-mobile sim card, but all the software on the phone is still cingular based. Is there anyway to change it to t-mobile? or make it go away?

Yeah, this is very simple to fix.

Since each carrier has different software to access services like T-Zones, picture messaging, and more, phones need to be configured in order to get all this software. You can get that here.

thanks a lot. t-zones is working now, but the icons are still cingular branded. is there anyway to change this? sorry, but i have major OCD and this has been bothering me for DAYS

I personally don't know, but if you posted your question in the Motorola forum, you'll definitely get an answer.

Oh, and If you don't want your battery to say "Cingular" on it, then just buy a new battery. At least it's not painted on in three different places like my Samsung.
