Search thru the threads and you will find close to 30 posts asking the same thing. Long story short, email the less-than-30 second song snips to your phone from your computer, save the msg attachment(song snipet) and assign it as a ringtone. Save the snipet as a .wma, that seems to work better than .mp3's

You don't need e-mail on your phone. Your mobile telephone number is, by default, an e-mail address. For Verizon users, it is [email protected] (I do not know what the domain is for Alltel service).

Ask your local Alltel store... someone there will know and will be able to tell you.

A "Dont bother me" way to find out what the email address of your phone is: If your phone has a camera, take a picture of something, and send it to your home email address. If you dont have a camera built in, send a text msg to your home email. Make it short, just a "...email address test.." in the body and type in your email addy as the recipient, send it, then check your home email.

Now look at the sent from address of the msg, it will look like... (your phone number)@alltel.net or .com, or something similar. THAT is your phone's email address.

Send the cut-down audio clip (usually must be less than 30 seconds long), it may have to be in .wma form. You may be able to use .mp3 format, try that first.
