recovering photos on a Razr V3

Please can anyone help? – I have deleted some photos from my phone (Razr V3) in error and I am desperate to retrieve them. I have some photo recovery software on my computer which works a treat but requires you to ‘point’ the software to the correct drive – items such as USB sticks and digital cameras show up on the computer as ‘drives’ in their own right but the phone does not (even though phone tools obviously allows you to transfer photos between the phone and PC). Has anyone come across this problem before? – there must be way to resolve it (although Motorola tell me that there isn’t) – I know that the photos probably still exist on the phone’s memory - if this was removable memory I wouldn’t be having this problem.

Please help – these photos are important to me and I would happily pay a commercial company (if that is what is required) to do the job but from previous experience I have found that forums such as this often provide solutions even the manufacturers don’t have

I'm not so sure that the photos will be on that phone if you have deleted them. I don't think they get stored in any kind of buffer or anything like that, so trying to recover them might not be possible at all. Sorry.

Phones are just like computers in some ways... data storage is one of them, meaning that if you delete something off your phones mem it's not realy gone though there are a few ways to perminently get rid of data, from the sound of it not something your looking to do. I have read a little on this.... which is why I know it can be recovered, but my knowledge on the subject ends there. Your best bet from here would be to do a google (or some other search engine) and take it from there... but I can tell you it's not something that will be cheap and if you want to do yourself will require a few pieces of software and more than a little cellphone knowledge.... Good luck and keep us posted as I'm sure more than a few of our users would like that info.
