I just bought a V3xx and brought it home to start playing with it some. I connected the phone to my computer via a USB cable and the computer recognizes the phone. The problem is, when I click on the removable disk icon in 'My Computer' it says to insert a disc. What am I doing wrong? All I want to do is add some mp3's to the phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Problem with RAZR V3xx
can you tell us what is the exact model, is it v series v300, v360, etc,
if its v360 and has a memory card, where would you like to add mp3 in the phone or in the memory card?
v360 has memory card transflash , v300 does not.

Re: Problem with RAZR V3xx
I'm not sure, it just says RAZR V3xx 3G wireless phone. I noticed when I put the sim card in that there was another slot there where I assumed an extra memory card could go. So I guess i have a 300 then?
Can I not add mp3s to it without the memory card? If not, will I still be able to obtain mp3 ringtones through bluetooth connection?

Re: Problem with RAZR V3xx
you should be able to connect through motorola mobile phone tools.
when you connect your phone, it will ask you to install the driver, after installing mobile phone tools, it will find the driver itself, just click next and search for the driver.
before you you connect you phone to the computer, make sure phone is in transfer mode, , go to menu , find connection and choose usb transfer connection if your phone is v360, if its v300 you dont need to do that.
