    Hello all,

This might be a stupid question but i hope someone will help. I recently created and uploaded a custom ringtone to my V3c. I don't like how fast the ring repeats.

I have tried adding "dead air" to the end of the ring and creating a loop that consists of the ring - silence - the ring again but the v3c cuts out the dead air/silence and i just end up with the same problem.

Does anyone know of a way to change the time between rings or how I can recreate the ring in order to have a longer duration between the rings? Thanks for any help!

Instead of "dead air" did you try adding a barely audible whisper of a sound? Maybe if the phone detects *some* sound, even if you cant actually hear it, then it won't cut out the silent part... of course I'm just guessing but that's what I'd try. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply, great minds think alike I did try that but the phone cut out all barely audible noises. The noise I had to ad for it to work was too loud.

I ended up using Audacity to add a few seconds of silence to the beginning, not perfect but it works.
