motorola razr2 V9 music volume control

I use my razr2 as both a cellphone and a mp3 player.
Is it just me or is volume extremely high when playing music using the razr2 even at the lowest setting?
There should be settings for even lower volume!

I am very new to this and don't know how to start my own thread. I have razr2 V8 and have been made aware of hair line cracks on the right hand side of the phone. It is only 5 months old and has never been dropped. The cracks are near the Smart Key. My friend, who has the same phone has the same problem and knows of at least another 5 people. Have you heard of this problem before. If your mobile is black/grey colour would be wise to check it as it is very hard to see the cracks as they are so fine. Sorry I didn't answer your question but this is my first forum and I can't work out how to post my problem. Thanks.
