I recently bought a Motorola Razor v3 on ebay. It was advertised as "new".
The lifetime call timer was at 2 minutes and the hinges were clean. The battery was used as was the packaging. It appeared to be new but....I don't think so. On the used box it came in I noticed it said UK.
What is the deal? I mean I'm not complaining because it works great and only cost $84.00 So is it refurbished and they somehow reset the timer?
Thanx in advance for any comments

Re: Motorola Razor v3---> Refurbished??
It could be that they re-flashed the phone with a new flex. This will reset any timers that could have previously held information. If the phone looks as if it is in good shape, I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: Motorola Razor v3---> Refurbished??
The reliability of this phone is no different than the reliability of any other phone. It has defects just like every phone when released.
Common defects with the V3:
- Pocket lent manages to get under the internal large screen.
- Random restarts.
- Random signal quality.
It's an OK device, but the RAZR V3c and V3m are both of much higher quality with fewer defects.
As far as dropping it and it breaking being a factor...it isn't. It isn't any more likely to break than any other phone.

Re: Motorola Razor v3---> Refurbished??
You know after looking on Ebay their seems to be a lot of refurbished CPhones for sale and they go pretty fast. This looks like it could be a good project for the wife.
Anybody know of a good wholesale distributor I can trust?
Thanks

Re: Motorola Razor v3---> Refurbished??
Lol,now I am here ..we are V3 refurbished factory located in china and also have wholesale distributor in IL ,usa .yes,we are sure the phone you bought is refurbished ,however don't worry about much ,the refurbished phone still work better a lot than brand copy ..just the battery is not original so you feel that battery is easy to use out .^^
We provide refurbished V3 or K1 model ,the price is very competitive if wholesale ,really attractive price ...^^ also could get directly from our usa distributor if you won't hope to buy directly from us in china .^^[email protected] for dierct contact !Last edited by jackyanytone; 10-23-2011 at 06:21 AM.
