V3m no mp3 player or USB connection ~ help!

I just recently got a "new" Razr V3m from my Alltel distributor. I have had a
V3m for 2 years, tried a Ve20 and hated it and wanted to go back to the
V3m. Obviously they dont carry them anymore so they found one through one of their suppliers. The box says V3m for Alltel but it does not have the
MP3 player icon in the media gallery and also does not have the USB setting option in settings/connection. I have gone through a bunch of posts on here trying to update drivers/etc but nothing has seemed to work so far. Is there a chance that some V3ms are not MP3 players or is it just "locked" somewhere in the phone? It also confuses me that the only connection options I have are phone and bluetooth. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks!

A true RAZR v3m should always be able to be a music player. The "m" stands for multi-media. My daughter had a pink RAZR v3m before the phone she has now. Worked good as a music player. Are you with Alltel?

Yes I am with Alltel. i also thought that a V3m would definitely be an MP3 player. Is there some reason why the icon would just not show up in the media gallery? As I said, I tried doing various updates but without the ability to change it to USB mass storage I'm not sure if it was working. It does not show USB as a connection option, another strange thing...

I may answer your question/anxiety in different ways as given below:

(1) You have already purchased various gifts for your
09 years old and now keeping anxiety can make
no sense.

(2) Christmas is remembered as Jesus Christ's Birth
Day and one should not bother much about giving
Christmas gifts. Exchange of gifts during Christmas
has become a tradition and it is not a ritual related
to Christmas. Therefore, whatever you purchased
or other children got should not be considered
as more or is less .

Let us remember and celebrate this Christmas with great Joy and day for Devotion. Also offer a special gift for your loved ones, the gift - "JESUS".
