RAZR V3xx: Screen UPSIDE-DOWN!

Okay, so today for some reason all of a sudden my screen is upside-down! I've done a 'master clear' and it's still doing it. Everything works fine except my screen display is upside-down!

Any ideas or help? Is there a way to format it or something?

It can be caused by either software or hardware. If it's SoftwareYou can try to do a Motorola Software Update "MSU". You can Google it. If your phone was originally locked and is now unlocked the update will lock it most of the time. I have used the MSU many times with moto phones some degree of success. If you don't know how to reflash the phone this would be the only option.

If it's Hardware then it may be the flex cable which is a ribbon of wires that carries information from the main board (bottom) to the flip/LCD (top). When a flex goes bad it causes a number of problems including white screen and upsidedown. Flex cables are not expensive but requires dismantling the phone completely and not easy if you've never done it. Hope this helps.
