Hey,
Earlier today I dropped my razr for - probably - the thousandth time. These things are surprisingly durable and there's never been any severe damage to my phone, but today was a different story.
The screen has gone blank, but the keypad still lights up, and if someone sends me a text message the phone still vibrates, rings, etc depending on the sound setting. And I can still change the sound setting to, it's just I have no visual aid with it. It's torture seeing as my phone has gone off exceedingly on the day that the screen goes blank and I'm very anxious to see what missed calls/text messages those are.
Any help is appreciated. I've had this phone for 3 years so obviously my warranty has expired. I've heard somewhere that this has to do with a loose lcd cable or something of that sort, though I'm not too good with my hands... thanks for reading!

Re: Blank screen /rage
Had happened with my E-815 last week and Verizon told me the ribbon used to carry the wires between the two parts on flip phones was damaged. Cost to fix was more than replacing the phone with a factory remanufactured phone.
