    My RAZR v3 refuses to turn on.

    Yesterday the battery was weak, and when I sent a message it shut off. No biggie, this happens when the battery is low, all I need to do is give it a nice long full charge. So I plugged it into the wall, saw the red charging light on the front come on, and left it there. An 8-hour work shift later, I return to find the red light still on (normally it shuts off when it reaches a stage it deems "Charge Complete," so I unplug it and try to turn it on. The blue backlight comes on for a few seconds, then goes off. Nothing on either screen came up, and it's as though I had abysmally low battery again. I plug it back in, and the red charging light comes on fine, but the backlight also comes on, even when the phone is closed. After a while the phone really heats up as well, I take out the battery and find that the actual phone itself is generating the bulk of the heat.

    I tried my USB plug, and the red light and backlight come on for about 30 seconds, before shutting off as though it weren't even connected. Motorola Phone Tools does not detect it, nor is there any sort of Vista notification. Trying any buttons during this whole process is an act in vain.

    If I try and plug in without the battery, the same results (or rather, lack thereof) occur.

    Before the obvious solution attempts are presented;
    I've tried searching for help but the majority of results I get are forum posts by people asking the question with little to no responses.
    I've had this phone for ages, used it in three countries under four different providers, so I'm on my own when it comes to warranty.
    I've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in.
    I cannot flash it when it can't even turn on let alone be detected by my computer.
    I cleaned out the lint and dust from the insides a few months ago when I had a slight water damage problem, from which it fully recovered.
    It has not recently been in any extreme conditions.

    That being said, I appreciate any help given.
