The internal screen on my razr is badly damaged. I was able to transfer the majority of the files I needed/ wanted via bluetooth transfer, and then some more using MPT. However, I am not able to 'find' all of my ringtones to transfer them. Some were ringtones that I purchased/downloaded but others were ones that were blue-toothed to my phone. I did not have any additional memory, and I never moved any of the ringtones around. I am not sure why they were not all in the same place, and I have checked all of the folders that I am able to 'see' with bt and MPT. Any thoughts on where these files are and how to transfer them??

Also, I was able to recover all of the texts I had saved in my 'inbox', but what about those in 'drafts'?? I used to save notes to myself (kind of like a To Do or otepad) as drafts. Is there any way to recover these 'texts' as well?

    Thanks so much in advance.

I have a simialr problem with my KRZR. I have no display and my USB connection is not set on data. Anyone have any ideas how to get my contacts? Sorry to hijack but I believe we need the same solution.

not an issue at all - hope we can both find a resolution ; )

and am not sure what you mean by no data
    but have you tried MPT??
Google it to find the free download
    (MPT or Motorola Phone Tools)
the software actually does the work for you
from the PC - so no need to navigate through your phone screens

it is designed to back up or sync all of your contacts with something like Outlook of Lotus Notes
    BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO
you can do a straight back-up
and it will download all of the contacts from your phone
    it worked perfectly for me!

my only issue is why selective ringtones seem to be hiding somewhere...

Try connect it to PC, use MobilEdit! softaware, transfer all the files to PC and save it. Ensura to install Motorola Modem driver first, otherwise PC/ MobilEdit! application won"t detect the phone.
