I've been syncing my Razr V3's calendar with Google Calendar via the GooSync service, and it works pretty well. But when I also opted to try syncing my address book with the online contacts, it was a big problem.

It seems that the Razr sends the address book data in standard vCard format, but it swaps the first and last names when it does it. For example, the address book on the phone just has a single field called "Name", and my names are entered, for example, "John Smith".

After syncing, the entry on the web shows up as "John, Smith" where it should of course be "Smith, John". I guess I could change my phone addresses to be surname first, but I am not used to doing it that way. Is this the standard way of keeping one's entries on their phone? Is there a way to change the way the Razr handles it when syncing?

look at the friend I never used goosync ... but I can rightly say that Motorola has applications so you can be backing up their directory addition to other personal files .. so I suggest you do this backup, then yes goosync Experiment with the ... because if something goes wrong .. you can back up without fear of losing your data
