    Does anyone know how to stop the annoying startup and shut down "woosh sound" Many thanks

    Try putting the phone on silent or vibrate before turning it off.

    Took me hours and hours trying to do the exact same thing , the start up sound is just horrible. Figured there was a setting somewhere to turn it off and i just couldnt find it finally gave up and just dealt with it until i switched phones :/
