StarTAC 7868W

Recently acquired athis phone. It seems to be locked in analog mode. Can anyone help me?

A co-worker has same plan and phone, his is in digital mode. Set-ups seem to be identical.

Please help.

-Hey, I hope this reply isn't too late because I might have a solution....I have a StarTac 7868W as well and it is in Digital mode. I looked in my phone's manual and it says something about locking phone in one mode or another. Since you have analog mode set, I think all you have to do is (this is what my manual says to do)...Go to <Main Menu> then go to
<Phone Options> in phone options go to <System Options> then scroll till you see "Analog Only". If it says "Off", then I am not sure and you should take it in to a local wireless store for tech support (Verizon, etc.), but if it says "On", then try just selecting "Off" and see what happens. Exit menus and look to see if the little [D] is showing in the upper left hand screen of your phone. -Hope this helps!
