I just got a moto v878 and as you guys know it will not support the 850 gsm band. Can I replace the gsm ic chip with a quadband chip such as one from a v400? If in fact I can do this, will I need to flash the firmware so it will work? And, in flashing, can I just flash the network section and not lose any features. thanks for anyone that can help.
